Qualunquemente
''Qualunquemente'' is a 2011 Italian satirical comedy film starring comedian Antonio Albanese as his famous character Cetto La Qualunque, a sleazy Southern Italy politician. The title means "whichever-ly" (adding ungrammatical adverbial endings is a shtick of the main character). It was released in Italy on 600 copies on 21 January 2011 and was screened in the Main Programme of the Panorama section at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival. Plot Corrupt and sleazy entrepreneur Cetto La Qualunque comes back to Italy and "si butta in politica" meaning he "throws himself into politics" lest his law-abiding opponent, Giovanni De Santis, is elected as mayor. Cetto La Qualunque is an entrepreneur from Calabria, a region in the South of Italy; he's very crude and vulgar, an embodiment of the Southern Italian society, also represented by corrupted politicians, administrators and auditors. Giulio Manfredonia
Giulio Manfredonia (born 3 November 1967 in Rome) is an Italian film director and screenwriter. Biography Manfredonia is the nephew of director Luigi Comencini. After working on several films as assistant director to Antonio Albanese, Luigi Comencini, and Cristina Comencini, Manfredonia made his debut as director in 2001 with the comedy ''Se fossi in te'' (If I Were You). He followed this in 2004 with ''È già ieri'' (It's Already Yesterday), a remake of the 1993 American comedy ''Groundhog Day'', with Antonio Albanese reprising Bill Murray's role. Antonio Albanese
Antonio Albanese (born 10 October 1964 in Olginate, Province of Lecco), is an Italian comedian, actor, director and writer. Biography Born in Lombardy to Sicilian parents, he studied at the Civic Drama School in Milan, then opted to pursue an acting career. His first experiences as a comedian date back to 1992, when he made his debut at the Zelig Theatre in Milan. He showcased his acts on the popular Maurizio Costanzo talk show and collaborated with actor-comedian Paolo Rossi. His popularity increased after he joined the Italia 1 show ''Mai dire Gol''. Salvatore Cantalupo
Salvatore Cantalupo (8 July 1959 – 13 August 2018) was an Italian actor. Very active especially in the theater, Cantalupo became known to the general public and the media thanks to the 2008 film '' Gomorrah'' directed by Matteo Garrone and based on the novel by Roberto Saviano, in which Cantalupo played the role of Pasquale, a tailor who worked in high fashion, but gets exploited by the Camorra. 61st Berlin International Film Festival
The 61st annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from 10 to 20 February 2011, with actress Isabella Rossellini as the President of the Jury. The Coen Brothers film ''True Grit'' opened the festival. 300,000 tickets were sold in total during the event, to 20,000 attendees from 116 countries, including 3900 members of the press. Sergio Rubini (born 21 December 1959) is an Italian actor, film director and screenwriter. Life and career Rubini was born in Grumo Appula, Apulia, but soon moved to Rome to study acting. Domenico Procacci (born 8 February 1960) is an Italian film producer. Life and career Born in Bari, Procacci debuted as a producer in the late 1980s, when he co-founded with Renzo Rossellini and others the production company Vertigo. In 1990 he founded the company Fandango, which debuted with a box office hit, Sergio Rubini's ''La stazione''. He soon specialized in producing small-budget art films directed by young directors. ''Tutto tutto niente niente'' is a 2012 Italian film starring comedian Antonio Albanese as his famous character Cetto La Qualunque, a sleazy Southern Italy politician.
