Quaker State 400 (Kentucky)
The Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart, commonly known as simply the Quaker State 400, was a annual NASCAR Cup Series race held at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky. The inaugural event was held on July 9, 2011 and was won by Kyle Busch. From 2012 to 2014, the race was held the week before the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway on Independence Day weekend. From 2015 to 2019, the event moved back two weeks, coming after Daytona and preceding New Hampshire. Cole Custer won the last running of the event in 2020; the race date was returned to Atlanta Motor Speedway in 2021. NBC returned to NASCAR broadcasting with the 2015 running of the Quaker State 400 after the four years were on TNT. NASCAR On TNT
''NASCAR on TNT'' was the tagname for any NASCAR series race that had been broadcast on TNT by Turner Sports between 2001 and 2014. The network continued Turner's longstanding relationship with NASCAR that dated back to its initial association with TBS Superstation. TNT's final race was the 2014 Camping World RV Sales 301 on July 13, 2014. Coverage history Prior to 2001 Prior to 2001, Turner Sports' home for NASCAR was TNT's sister station, TBS. The 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series was the 63rd season of professional stock car racing in the United States and the 40th modern-era Cup series season. The season included 36 races and two exhibition races, beginning with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway and ending with the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The final ten races were known as 2011 Chase for the Sprint Cup. The 2011 season is considered by many to be one of the greatest and most exciting seasons in Cup Series history. The 2015 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race (XXXI) was a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car race held on May 16, 2015 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. Contested over 110 laps, it was the second exhibition race of the 2015 Sprint Cup Series season. Interstate 71 (I-71) is a north–south Interstate Highway in the Great Lakes/Midwestern and Southeastern region of the United States. Its southern terminus is at an interchange with I-64 and I-65 (the Kennedy Interchange) in Louisville, Kentucky, and its northern terminus at an interchange with I-90 in Cleveland, Ohio. I-71 runs concurrently with I-75 from a point about south of Cincinnati, Ohio, into Downtown Cincinnati.
