Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park
The Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park ( ur, قائدِ اعظم سولر پارک) is a photovoltaic power station in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan, named in honor of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Founder of Pakistan. It is a 100 MW solar plant spanning and hosting 392,158 solar modules. The project was constructed by the Government of Punjab, Pakistan in May 2015 with the cost of $131 million. Background and operation History The project of solar powered park was approved by Government of Punjab, Pakistan on August, 2013. In Sept 2013, Govt of Punjab signed an MOU with TBEA SunOasis of China to set up a 1000MWp solar power plant. This led to the establishment of the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park site near Bahawalpur. Mian Saqib Nisar ( ur, ; born 18 January 1954) is a Pakistani jurist who served as the 25th Chief Justice of Pakistan from 31 December 2016 till 17 January 2019. Rewa Ultra Mega Solar is an operational ground mounted, grid-connected photovoltaic solar park spread over an area of in the Gurh tehsil of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh, India. It started producing power in 2018 and reached its full capacity of 750MW in January 2020. The project was dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on July 10, 2020.
