Quadtrine Hill
Quadtrine Victavian Hill (born November 18, 1982, in West Palm Beach, Florida) is a former American football fullback. He was originally signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at the University of Miami. High school career Hill was an All-State tailback at Piper High School in Sunrise, Florida. As a senior in 2001, he rushed for 1,356 yards and 20 touchdowns, averaging more than seven yards per carry. He was also noted to be an outstanding student with a 4.3 grade-point average. College career Hill attended the University of Miami, where he played in 48 games over four seasons from 2002 to 2005, rushing 40 times for 253 yards and catching 56 passes for 414 yards and two touchdowns. He was described as a straight-line runner with excellent speed, and a receiving threat out of the backfield. Fullback (American Football)
A fullback (FB) is a position in the offensive backfield in gridiron football, and is one of the two running back positions along with the halfback. Fullbacks are typically larger than halfbacks and in most offensive schemes the fullback's duties are split among power running, pass catching, and blocking for both the quarterback and the other running back. Many great runners in the history of American football have been fullbacks, including Jim Brown, Marion Motley, Bronko Nagurski, Jim Taylor, Franco Harris, Larry Csonka, John Riggins, Christian Okoye, and Levi Jackson. However, many of these runners would retroactively be labeled as halfbacks, due to their position as the primary ball carrier; they were primarily listed as fullbacks due to their size and did not often perform the run-blocking duties expected of modern fullbacks. A waiver is the voluntary relinquishment or surrender of some known right or privilege. Regulatory agencies of state departments or the federal government may issue waivers to exempt companies from certain regulations.
