Qishan County
Qishan County () is a county in the west of Guanzhong, Shaanxi province, China, under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Baoji. It was the site of Zhouyuan (), the first capital of the Zhou Dynasty (1066–256 BCE). Historically, the site was also known as Qiyi () or Qishan (). Cishan District (also spelled Qishan; ) is a suburban district in northeastern Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It has a area of 94.61 square kilometers, or 36.53 square miles. The population of Cishan is 34,863 as of May 2022. It is the 19th most populous district in Kaohsiung. History After the handover of Taiwan from Japan to the Republic of China in 1945, Cishan was organized as an urban township of Kaohsiung County. On 25 December 2010, Kaohsiung County was merged with Kaohsiung City and Cishan was upgraded to a district of the city. In 2009, then Cishan Township was affected by Typhoon Morakot. Gansu
Gansu (, ; alternately romanized as Kansu) is a province in Northwest China. Its capital and largest city is Lanzhou, in the southeast part of the province. Zhaoyuan () is a county-level city within the prefecture-level city of Yantai, Shandong Province, China, located on the Bohai Sea. Zhaoyuan is well known for its abundant gold deposit and production, and is occasionally nicknamed "China's gold capital" (). The city spans an area of , and has a population of 560,234 as of 2019. Pei County, or Peixian (), is under the administration of Xuzhou, Jiangsu province, China, bordering the Shandong prefecture-level cities of Jining to the northwest and Zaozhuang to the northeast and sitting on the western shore of Nansi Lake.
