Qiao Bin
Qiao Bin (, born 17 November 1992) is a Chinese badminton player. He won his first senior international title at the China International tournament. In 2016, Qiao who ranked 41 at that time clinched the Superseries title at the Korea Open, defeated the sixth seed, world number eight, Son Wan-ho in the final. Qiao (surname)
Qiáo () is the 96th most common last name in China. The Qiaos are descendants of the Ji (姬) family. This name was named after a mountain. According to the legend, the ancient king Huang Di was buried in mountain of Qiao Shan ( Huangling in Shaanxi). Some of Huang Di's descendants were responsible for taking care of his grave, and they eventually adopted Qiao as their last name, originally using "橋" before changing to "喬" later. The BWF Super Series was a series of Grade 2 badminton tournaments, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). It was launched on December 14, 2006 and implemented in 2007. Since 2011, the Super Series includes two levels of tournament, Super Series Premier and Super Series. A season of Super Series featured twelve tournaments around the world, including five of them classified as Super Series Premier. Super Series Premier tournament offers higher ranking point and higher minimum total prize money. Top eight players/pairs in each discipline in Super Series standings are invited to the Super Series Finals held at the year end. Chinese Taipei Open (badminton)
The Taipei Open, formerly named the Chinese Taipei Open Grand Prix Gold (2007–2017) and Chinese Taipei Open (2018–2019), is an open badminton international championships held in Taiwan since the 1970s, but they took place only in irregular periods. Tian Houwei
Tian Houwei (; born 11 January 1992) is a badminton player from China. He was the 2009 World and Asian Junior Champions in the boys' singles event. Tian was part of the Chinese national team that won the silver medals at the 2013 Summer Universiade and 2014 Asian Games. China Masters
The Fuzhou China Open, formerly known as China Masters, is an annual badminton tournament held in China. It became part of the BWF Super Series tournaments in 2007. In 2014 the level of the tournament was downgraded to BWF Grand Prix Gold because, although China bid in the autumn of 2012 to continue to host 2 BWF Super Series tournaments, the Changzhou bid was unsuccessful and the China Masters was replaced for the 2014–2017 Superseries cycle by the Australian Open. In 2018, the tournament became a part of World Tour Grade 2 Level 3 tournament (BWF World Tour Super 750) and acquire its current name. The BWF Super Series Finals (named as BWF Super Series Masters Finals until 2009) was an annual badminton tournament held at the end of the year where the players with the most points from that calendar year's twelve events of the BWF Super Series competed for total prize money of at least US$ 1,000,000. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the international governing body for the sport of badminton recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It was founded in 1934 as the International Badminton Federation (IBF) with nine member nations (Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales).
