QPIX was a not-for-profit film and television training organisation based in the Brisbane inner-city suburb of Annerley. She subsequently left community television to pursue work on various films and TV series shot in Canada, South-East Queensland, and Far-North Queensland by companies including HBO, FOX, Dimeworth Films, and Limelight International. By 2009 she changed course to pursue independent producing and began as Production Manager and publicist of a low-budget thriller ''Sleeper''. Metro Screen was a Paddington, Sydney based not-for-profit film, television and digital media training organisation. It was the NSW member of Screen Development Australia (SDA) and was located in the Paddington Town Hall, Cnr Oxford St & Oatley Rd, Paddington. Other members include Open Channel (Vic), QPIX (Qld), Media Resource Centre (SA), Wide Angle Tasmania (Tas), and FTI (WA). FTI WA Inc., formerly the Film and Television Institute and also known as the Perth Institute of Film and Television, was a screen resource centre located in Western Australia aimed at increasing the vibrancy of the screen sector, including film, Television, games and interactive media. Raw Nerve Short Film Initiative
{{Use dmy dates, date=January 2022 The Raw Nerve Short Film Initiative is a joint venture between Screen Development Australia (SDA) and Screen Australia (formerly the Australian Film Commission (AFC)) that awards Australian filmmakers sponsorship to encourage film production. The program funds the creation of short films on a low budget by emerging filmmakers and then tours the films throughout Australia at the end of a years work. It was created to address the sponsoring organisations' objective of showcasing new talent via organizations in each state.
