QBS-09
The QBS-09 semi-automatic shotgun, also known as the Type 09 shotgun, is a semi-automatic shotgun developed by Norinco of the People's Republic of China. Design and development The initial development of the QBS-09 dates back to 1989, with the project officially established in 2005. Multiple prototypes were created between 2005 and 2007, including one featuring an internal tube design, and a conventional magazine-fed design. The QBS-09 uses specifically designed DBD-09 18.4mm tungsten alloy anti-personnel buckshot. The round is loaded with 14 pellets of high-density tungsten alloy buckshot set into plastic container with steel-case. Tungsten alloy is used as the penetration level of the lead pellets were unable to meet the PLA requirement. Each pellet is made of tungsten alloy ball of 5.3mm (~0.2“) in diameter, 1.4 gram (~22 grains) in weight. The length of the round is 65mm and the whole round weighs 44 grams. People's Liberation Army

Gauge (bore Diameter)
The gauge (or commonly bore in British English) of a firearm is a unit of measurement used to express the inner diameter (bore diameter) of the barrel. Gauge is determined from the weight of a solid sphere of lead that will fit the bore of the firearm and is expressed as the multiplicative inverse of the sphere's weight as a fraction of a pound, e.g., a one-twelfth pound lead ball fits a 12-gauge bore. Thus there are twelve 12-gauge balls per pound, etc. The term is related to the measurement of cannon, which were also measured by the weight of their iron round shot; an 8-pounder would fire an 8 lb (3.6 kg) ball. Gas Operated
Gas-operation is a system of operation used to provide energy to operate locked breech, autoloading firearms. In gas-operation, a portion of high-pressure gas from the cartridge being fired is used to power a mechanism to dispose of the spent case and insert a new cartridge into the chamber. Energy from the gas is harnessed through either a port in the barrel or a trap at the muzzle. This high-pressure gas impinges on a surface such as a piston head to provide motion for unlocking of the action, extraction of the spent case, ejection, cocking of the hammer or striker, chambering of a fresh cartridge, and locking of the action. Rotating Bolt
Rotating bolt is a method of locking the breech (or rear barrel) of a firearm closed for firing. Johann Nicolaus von Dreyse developed the first rotating bolt firearm, the "Dreyse needle gun", in 1836. The Dreyse locked using the bolt handle rather than lugs on the bolt head like the Mauser M 98 or M16. The first rotating bolt rifle with two lugs on the bolt head was the Lebel Model 1886 rifle. The concept has been implemented on most firearms chambered for high powered cartridges since the 20th century. A magazine is an ammunition storage and feeding device for a repeating firearm, either integral within the gun (internal/fixed magazine) or externally attached (detachable magazine).
