Argeș County () is a county (''județ'') of Romania, in Muntenia, with the capital city at Pitești. Lupeni (; German: ''Schylwolfsbach'', Hungarian: ''Lupény'') is a mining city in the Jiu Valley in Hunedoara County, Romania, in the historical region of Transylvania.
