Pågatågen
Pågatågen is an interurban railway system in Skåne County, Sweden, and is run by Skånetrafiken, the regional public transportation authority. The trains are operated by the contractor Arriva. The network has 72 stations, of which 8 are in the Malmö Urban Area: Malmö C, Triangeln, Hyllie, Svågertorp, Persborg, Rosengård, Östervärn and Burlöv and 4 in the Helsingborg Urban Area: Helsingborg C, Ramlösa, Rydebäck and Ödåkra. ''Påg'' is a dialectal Scanian word for 'boy', and is used to indicate that the trains are local/regional, and ''tåg'' is Swedish for train. The trains consist of purple-coloured electric multiple units of the X61 model. The last trip using the old model X11 was made on 8 September 2013. Landskrona Station
Landskrona Station is the railway station in Landskrona. It first opened in January 2001 and is a part of the West Coast Line. The station has two platforms, a side platform and an island platform. To get between the platforms there are stairs and two lifts. History Prior to 2001 the former railway station in Landskrona was a terminal station located inside the city center. In connection with the expansion of Västkustbanan to double track, a new double-track railway was built between Kävlinge and Helsingborg, which ran outside Landskrona city center. The new station, called "Landskrona Östra", was built just outside the city center. The former station is now called "Landskrona freight rail yard" and is served only by freight trains. Hyllie Railway Station
Hyllie Station ( sv, Hyllie station) is a railway station located in the Hyllie city district in the southwestern part of Malmö, Sweden. It is the final station on the Swedish side of the Öresund Line before trains pass the Øresund Bridge towards Denmark. The station opened in 2010 as a part of the newly built City Tunnel along with Triangeln railway station and a new underground part of Malmö Central Station. The station is located next to Malmö Arena and the Emporia shopping mall and is being served by Øresundståg regional trains and Pågatågen commuter trains. Malmö Central Station
Malmö Central Station ( sv, Malmö centralstation) is a railway station on the Southern Main Line in Malmö, Sweden, opened in 1856. It serves approximately 17 million passengers per year. With the opening of the City Tunnel in 2010, the station began through services connecting south to Copenhagen via the Öresund Line, to stations north on the Southern Main Line, saving at least 15 minutes for through passengers. Description The central station has ten tracks. Four tracks are underground at the northernmost point of the City Tunnel, and 6 tracks are above ground in the old terminus station. Helsingborg Central Station
Helsingborg Central Station or 'Helsingborg C', also colloquially known as Knutpunkten is the primary railway station in Helsingborg. It is a transit hub for ferries, long-distance trains ( SJ), Öresundståg, Pågatåg, city- and regional buses. It is one of Sweden's busiest transit hub facilities. The railway station is the eleventh largest in Sweden with 20,600 passengers per weekday (2011). This includes passengers on the ferry and bus services. In total, Knutpunkten is visited by approximately 45,000 people daily. The building is a large complex that also contains restaurants, pubs, shops and office space. Åstorp (old da, Aastrup) is a bimunicipal locality and the seat of Åstorp Municipality in Scania County, Sweden with 9,488 inhabitants in 2010. It is also partly located in Ängelholm Municipality. Overview Åstorp is a railway junction located along the European route E4 close to Helsingborg. Höör
Höör (formerly spelled Hör, , old da, Hør) is a locality and the seat of Höör Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 7,865 inhabitants in 2010. Name The town was previously known as Hørg (in the 12th century), Hørgh (in the 15th century), and later Hør and Hör. The present, unusual spelling with double " ö" was implemented by the Swedish postal service at the beginning of the 20th century. At that time, it was a common practice in Sweden to write (for ''here'') in the address of letters to be delivered within the same town. Hässleholm
Hässleholm (older da, Hasselholm) is a locality and the seat of Hässleholm Municipality, Scania County, Sweden with 18,500 inhabitants in 2010. Overview Hässleholm was gradually developed from 1860 in connection with the construction of the main Stockholm to Malmö railway line. There was no settlement on the spot before the arrival of the railway. The station got its name from a manor situated in the vicinity of a planned railway junction. It gained the city title in 1914 and was then classified as one of Sweden's smallest cities. During the 20th century, it developed into a military hub. Eslöv
Eslöv (; older da, Eslev) is a town and the seat of Eslöv Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 19,598 inhabitants as of 2018. Eslöv is part of the Öresund Region. History According to a map from 1717, Eslöv village was originally located in the current crossing Västergatan-Remmarlövsvägen.
