Puxin Railway Station
Puxin station () is a railway station on the Taiwan Railways Administration West Coast line located in Yangmei District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. History The station was opened in 1900 as Anpinzhen (Hetin) station (安平鎮招呼站). It changed its name to the current name on 1 March 1955. The station building on the south entrance was built on 31 January 1986 and an expansion on the north entrance was completed on 9 December 2002. It is only served by local trains. The station building caught fire on 5 May 2016, and the fire damage was repaired by August 2016. Yangmei District
Yangmei District () is a District (Taiwan), district in southwestern Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The centre of the district is Yangmei town itself. The traditional residents are Hakka people. History Yangmei town was originally established as ''Yangmeili'' () during Taiwan under Qing rule, Qing dynasty rule. The name was shortened in 1920, during Taiwan under Japanese rule, Japanese rule. Under the Republic of China, the former Township (Taiwan), township was upgraded to a county-administered city after passing 150,000 in population. Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) is a railway operator in Taiwan. It is an agency of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, responsible for managing, maintaining, and running conventional passenger and freight railway services on 1097 km of track in Taiwan. West Coast Line (Taiwan)
Western Trunk line () is a railway line of the Taiwan Railways Administration in western Taiwan. It is by far the busiest line, having served over 171 million passengers in 2016. The total length of the line is 404.5 km. The line is an official classification of physical tracks and does not correspond to particular services. It is connected to Taichung line (''mountain line''; ) at Zhunan and Changhua. Many services turn inland to take the Taichung route, then reconnect back to the main line (West Coast line). Kuo Yuan Ye Museum Of Cake And Pastry
The Kuo Yuan Ye Museum of Cake and Pastry () is a pastry culture and making museum in Taiwan. The museum has two branches in Taiwan, one in Shilin District, Taipei and another in Yangmei District, Taoyuan City. History In 1708, ancestor of Kuo Yuan Ye moved from Zhangzhou to Taiwan within the Fujian Province of Qing Dynasty and started the family bakery business. To preserve the brand asset, the family opened a bakery museum at the 4th and 5th floor of the headquarters buildings in Yangmei District as Taiwan's first bakery museum in 2001. In 2002, the Shilin branch of the bakery museum was founded.
