Putrajaya Street Circuit
Putrajaya Street Circuit is a street circuit which was first used on 22 November 2014 during the second ePrix of Formula E. The start-and-finish straight runs on one of the major highways – Persiaran Perdana, or Putrajaya Boulevard – and just north of the circuit is the Perdana Putra housing the Prime Minister's Office. The track is in length and features 12 turns. It was designed by British architect Simon Gibbons, who brought experience of nine years with FOM as circuit planning manager and more recently played a significant role in the rowing and canoeing venue for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Putrajaya (), officially the Federal Territory of Putrajaya ( ms, Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya), is a planned capital city which functions as the administrative capital and the judicial capital of Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit
The Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit was a temporary street circuit located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The track hosted the 2015 Kuala Lumpur City Grand Prix for several categories and was contracted to host Supercars from 2017 to 2019. Ongoing legal issues have cancelled subsequent events at the circuit. Layout The winded through central Kuala Lumpur and was designed to showcase the city to the world via television broadcasts of the event. It passed several major landmarks including the Petronas Towers, Menara KL and Suria KLCC. One of the major overtaking spots was on Jalan Ampang, one of the main roads in Kuala Lumpur. The initial reaction to the circuit was positive, however the drivers visiting from the V8 Supercars series noted the track's difficulty. The Envision Racing Formula E Team is a British motor racing team based at Silverstone Park and majority-owned by Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Envision Energy that competes in Formula E. Sam Jamie Bird (born 9 January 1987) is a British professional racing driver who currently drives for Jaguar TCS Racing in the FIA Formula E World Championship. Daniel Abt
Daniel Johannes Abt (born 3 December 1992) is a German former racing driver. He has competed in such series as the German Formula Three Championship, the GP3 Series, the GP2 Series, and won the 2009 ADAC Formel Masters championship. He competed in the first four rounds of the 2019–20 Formula E season with ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport, however he was dismissed from the team after being found to be using a ringer driver in the sport's subsequent virtual races. Simon Gibbons is Visiting Professor of Phytochemistry at the Centre for Natural Products Discovery at Liverpool John Moores University. From 2020-2022 he was Professor of Natural Product Chemistry and Head of the School of Pharmacy at the University of East Anglia. In 2022, he received the Phytochemical Society of Europe Medal for his research in Phytochemistry.
