Puspa Indah
''Puspa Indah'' (''Beautiful Flower'') is a 1980 album by Indonesian singer Chrisye, working in collaboration with Guruh Soekarnoputra. It was his fourth studio album and the third with Musica Studios. Recording After the failure of '' Percik Pesona'' (''Stain of Enchantment''; 1979), Chrisye decided to distance himself from the pure pop sound that had made the earlier albums '' Badai Pasti Berlalu'' (''The Storm Will Surely Pass''; 1977) and ''Sabda Alam'' (''Nature's Order''; 1978) successful. After a period of introspection and contemplation, he decided to stick with pop, but give it a romantic theme with easy listening influences. Hajji Chrismansyah Rahadi (; 16 September 1949 – 30 March 2007), born Christian Rahadi (), better known by his stage name Chrisye (), was an Indonesian progressive pop singer and songwriter. In 2011 ''Rolling Stone Indonesia'' declared him the third-greatest Indonesian musician of all time. Born in Jakarta of mixed Chinese-Indonesian descent, Chrisye became interested in music at an early age. At high school he played bass guitar in a band he formed with his brother, Joris. In the late 1960s he joined Sabda Nada (later Gipsy), a band led by his neighbours, the Nasutions. In 1973, after a short hiatus, he rejoined the band to play in New York for a year. Sitor Situmorang (2 October 1923 – 21 December 2014) was an Indonesian poet, essayist and writer of short stories. Situmorang was born in Harianboho, North Sumatra, and educated in Jakarta. He worked as a journalist and literary critic in Medan, Yogyakarta and Jakarta for a variety of newspapers and periodicals. Sitor was considered by Dutch scholar and critic of Indonesian literature A. Teeuw to be Indonesia's preeminent poet from Angkatan '45 (The Generation of '45) after the decease of Chairil Anwar. ''Gita Cinta dari SMA'' (''Love Song in High School'') is a 1979 Indonesian film directed by Arizal and starring Rano Karno and Yessi Gusman. Plot Galih (Rano Karno) and Ratna (Yessi Gusman) are two high school students who excel at everything they do; they are popular and receive good grades. Soon they begin falling in love. Despite Ratna's father objecting to their relationship, they continue to meet in secret. When Ratna's father finds out, he attempts to arrange for her to marry someone else. Jockie Soerjoprajogo (; Perfected Spelling: Yockie Suryoprayogo; 14 September 1954 – 5 February 2018) was an Indonesian musician and songwriter. Jockie began his musical career while a junior high school student in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. After working with bands in Jakarta and Surabaya, in 1973, he joined with Ahmad Albar, Donny Fattah and Ludwig Leeman to form God Bless; he would remain with this band intermittently until the 2000s. The album was written in collaboration with Guruh Sukarnoputra. It was well received and, in 2007, was listed by Rolling Stone Indonesia as one of the 150 best Indonesian albums of all time. Actually, this album was scheduled to be released in August 1977, but it was officially released in early 1978.
