Purachatra Jayakara
Purachatra Jayakara, Prince of Kamphaengphet ( th, บุรฉัตรไชยากร; ; 23 January 1881 – 14 September 1936) was a Prince of Siam and a member of the Siamese Royal Family (later Thailand). He founded the House of Chatrajaya (), his descendants still use this royal surname. He was a son of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V the Great) of Siam. He was often called the ''Father of the Thai radio'' and the ''Father of the Thai railways'', due to his contributions in both fields. Rama VI Bridge
Rama VI Bridge ( th, สะพานพระราม 6, , ) is a railway bridge over the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, in Thailand, connecting the districts Bang Sue and Bang Phlat. It is the first bridge to cross the Chao Phraya River and was initially both a single-track railway and road (two lanes) bridge. Construction started in December 1922, during the reign of Vajiravudh to link the Northern Line with the Southern Line. Construction cost was 2,714,113.30 baht and It was officially opened on 1 January 1927. Center of the bridge was torn on 7 February 1945, during World War II, thus it was repaired in 1950-1953 by Dorman Long and Christiani & Nielsen and was officially reopened on 12 December 1953. A diesel locomotive is a type of railway locomotive in which the prime mover is a diesel engine. Several types of diesel locomotives have been developed, differing mainly in the means by which mechanical power is conveyed to the driving wheels. Early internal combustion locomotives and railcars used kerosene and gasoline as their fuel. Rudolf Diesel patented his first compression-ignition engine in 1898, and steady improvements to the design of diesel engines reduced their physical size and improved their power-to-weight ratios to a point where one could be mounted in a locomotive. Amphoe Aranyaprathet
Aranyaprathet ( th, อรัญประเทศ, ) is a district (''amphoe'') in Sa Kaeo province in Thailand. It borders Cambodia to the east. History Aranyaprathet was originally a district in the Kabin Buri Province. On 1 April 1926 the province was abolished and the two districts Mueang Kabin Buri and Aranyapathet became districts of Prachinburi province. In 1993 it was one of the districts that formed the new Sa Kaeo province. Sa Kaeo Province
Sa Kaeo ( th, สระแก้ว, ) is one of the 76 provinces (''changwat'') and lies in eastern Thailand about 200 km from Bangkok. Neighboring provinces are (from south clockwise) Chanthaburi, Chachoengsao, Prachinburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Buriram. To the east it borders Banteay Meanchey and Battambang of Cambodia.
