Puerto Ricans ( es, Puertorriqueños; or boricuas) are the people of Puerto Rico, the inhabitants, and citizens of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and their descendants. Anguilla Women's National Football Team
Anguilla women's national football team is the national team of Anguilla, a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean, and is controlled by the Anguilla Football Association. It is affiliated to the Caribbean Football Union of CONCACAF. As of November 2015, it remains unranked on the FIFA Women's World Rankings. History In 2003, Anguilla did play four matches but these were not FIFA recognised. The team played six matches in 2004, two of which were FIFA recognised. The country's first FIFA recognised matched was played on Saturday, 28 August 2004 in a game played in St. John's against Antigua and Barbuda women's national football team, with Antigua and Barbuda winning 1–0. The Charlotte 49ers are the college athletics in the United States, intercollegiate athletics teams that represent the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 49ers compete at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) NCAA Division I, Division I level as a member of Conference USA (C-USA) in most sports. Puerto Rico Sol FC is a Puerto Rican association football club based in Mayagüez. The club is a member of the Liga Puerto Rico, the highest level of football in the country. The Sol women’s team is recognized as a model for the development of women's football, both in economic and in cultural terms. Club de Fútbol Fraigcomar is a Puerto Rican association football club, located in San Francisco, a subbarrio of San Juan Antiguo, which is a barrio of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Metropolitan FA is a Puerto Rican association football club from the capital of San Juan that currently plays in the Liga Puerto Rico. The club plays its home matches at the Parque Reparto Metropolitano. History Metropolitan FA was founded in 2012 by Argentine Jorge Silvetti. In 2015 the team finished third in the Copa Excelencia which took place that year in lieu of a Puerto Rico Soccer League season. By the 2016 season the club was competing in the resurrected Puerto Rico Soccer League, the top tier of football on the island. After finishing in second place during both halves of the regular season, the team had the most combined points in the league and advanced directly to the final.
