Aleksander Vinter is a Norwegian musician. He has released a vast amount of work under numerous aliases but is best known for his work under the alias Savant. Career In 2009, Vinter released his debut album, ''Outbreak'', under the moniker Vinter in Hollywood. ''Outbreak'' was nominated in the electronic music category for the 2009 Norwegian Grammy Awards. Vinter signed with SectionZ Records in 2010 and put out a second album, ''Mamachine'', this time billed as Vinter in Vegas. In 2011, he released '' Ninür'' under the moniker Savant. In 2013, his following increased as he embarked on two North American tours. Between tours, he released the album ''Cult'' and provided music for the D-Pad Studio game ''Savant - Ascent''. Glitch is a genre of electronic music that emerged in the 1990s. It is distinguished by the deliberate use of glitch-based audio media and other sonic artifacts. The glitching sounds featured in glitch tracks usually come from audio recording device or digital electronics malfunctions, such as CD skipping, electric hum, digital or analog distortion, circuit bending, bit-rate reduction, hardware noise, software bugs, computer crashes, vinyl record hiss or scratches, and system errors. Breakbeat is a broad type of electronic music that tends to use drum breaks sampled from early recordings of funk, jazz, and R&B. Breakbeats have been used in styles such as hip hop, jungle, drum and bass, big beat, breakbeat hardcore, and UK garage styles (including 2-step, breakstep and dubstep). Space Opera
Space opera is a subgenre of science fiction that emphasizes space warfare, with use of melodramatic, risk-taking space adventures, relationships, and chivalric romance. Set mainly or entirely in outer space, it features technological and social advancements (or lack thereof) in faster-than-light travel, futuristic weapons, and sophisticated technology, on a backdrop of galactic empires and interstellar wars with fictional aliens, often in fictional galaxies. Zion (Savant Album)
Zion ( he, צִיּוֹן ''Ṣīyyōn'', LXX , also variously transliterated ''Sion'', ''Tzion'', ''Tsion'', ''Tsiyyon'') is a placename in the Hebrew Bible used as a synonym for Jerusalem as well as for the Land of Israel as a whole (see Names of Jerusalem). The name is found in 2 Samuel (5:7), one of the books of the Hebrew Bible dated to before or close to the mid-6th century BCE.
