Prosiana ( uk, Просяна) is an urban-type settlement in Synelnykove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. It is located at the east of the oblast, southeast of the city of Dnipro. Prosiana belongs to Malomyhailivka rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Chaplyne
Chaplyne ( uk, Чаплине, ; russian: Чаплино) is a rural settlement in Synelnykove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. It belongs to Dubovyky rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Its latest estimated population was History The name of the village comes from the small river Chaplyna, which flows near it. It was founded at the end of the 19th century during the construction of the Catherine railway (1882–1884), which connected the Donetsk coal and Kryvorizka iron ore basins. It was a part of Oleksandrivsky District of Katerynoslav Province. After the commissioning of the Chapline-Berdyansk railway branch in 1898, the station turned into a railway hub. Synelnykove
Synelnykove (, ; , ) is a city and municipality in Synelnykove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine, the largest city in the south-eastern part of the region. It serves as the administrative center of the raion. It is named after the Russian governor Ivan Sinelnikov. ''Panicum'' (panicgrass) is a large genus of about 450 species of grasses native throughout the tropical regions of the world, with a few species extending into the northern temperate zone. Hromada
A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality. It was established by the Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. Similar terms exist in Poland (''gromada'') and in Belarus (''hramada'').
