Prix Emmanuel Roblès
The Prix Emmanuel Roblès, readers's prize of Blois, is a French literary award established in 1990 whose aim is to reward an author of first novel. It is baptized as a tribute to writer Emmanuel Robles. High school students, students, librarians, booksellers, members of associations, detainees in prisons or all passionate about books, come together to work on this selection, in France and abroad. The winner of the prize is awarded a 5000 € scholarship (as of 2014) which allows him to start or continue a writing project. Blois
Blois ( ; ) is a commune and the capital city of Loir-et-Cher department, in Centre-Val de Loire, France, on the banks of the lower Loire river between Orléans and Tours. With 45,898 inhabitants by 2019, Blois is the most populated city of the department, and the 4th of the region. Soazig Aaron
Soazig Aaron (born 1949, Rennes) is a French author. Biography After studying history, Soazig Aaron worked for a few years in a bookshop in Paris. Today, she lives in Rennes in Brittany. Her first novel, ''Le Non de Klara'', appeared in 2002. The author, who is not Jewish, recounts in a fictitious diary the fate of Klara, a survivor of Auschwitz who returned in 1945 to Paris, trying to resume a normal life. For this work, Soazig Aaron received the prix Goncourt du premier roman and the prix Emmanuel Roblès of the city of Blois in 2002. These two prizes reward a first novel. In 2002, it also obtained the Prix du Roman of the city of Carhaix. In 2004, ''Le Non de Klara'' was crowned with the Grand Prix des Libraires. José Corti is a bookshop and publishing house located in Paris, France, and was founded in 1925. It is named after its founder, José Corticchiato (14 January 1895 – 25 December 1984). José Corticchiato started his business by publishing the work of his surrealist friends that included the founder André Breton, Paul Éluard, and Louis Aragon. José Corti's bookshop is located in the Latin Quarter in Paris, at 11 Rue Médicis, 75006 Paris (VIème). Hugo Boris (born 18 November 1979 in Paris), is a French writer. Biography Born in 1979, Boris is graduated from the Institut d'études politiques de Bordeaux and the École nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière. In 2003, his short story ''N'oublie pas de montrer ma tête au peuple'', published by Mercure de France, earned him the prix du jeune écrivain.
