''Prison Break, Prison Break'' is an American Serial (radio and television), serial drama television series that premiered on the Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox network on August 29, 2005, and finished its fifth season on May 30, 2017. The series was simulcast on Global Television Network, Global in Canada, and broadcast in dozens of countries worldwide. ''Prison Break'' is produced by Adelstein-Parouse Productions, in association with Rat Television, Original Television and 20th Television, Twentieth Century Fox Television. The series revolves around two brothers: Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell). In the Prison Break (season 1), first season, Lincoln is capital punishment, sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and Michael deliberately incarcerates himself to help him escape prison.
