Princess Hwisin
Princess Hwisin (Hangul: 휘신공주, Hanja: 徽愼公主; 24 October 1491 - ?), or firstly honoured as Princess Hwisun (Hangul: 휘순공주, Hanja: 徽順公主), was a Joseon Royal Princess and the eldest daughter of Yeonsangun of Joseon and Deposed Queen Sin. Her title as Princess was abolished after her father's abdication and was titled as ''Gu Mun-gyeong’s wife'' (구문경의 처), ''Lady Yi'' (이씨), ''Lady Gu'' (구씨) to follow her husband's clan, the Neungseong Gu clan. Yeonsangun of Joseon or Prince Yeonsan of Joseon (23 November 1476 – 20 November 1506), personal name Yi Yung ( Korean: 이융; Hanja: 李㦕), was the tenth ruler of the Joseon dynasty of Korea. Deposed Queen Yun
Deposed Queen Yun of the Haman Yun clan (15 July 1455 – 29 August 1482) was the second wife of Yi Hyeol, King Seongjong and the mother of Yi Yung, Prince Yeonsan. She was Queen of Joseon from 1476 until her deposition in 1479. She was an 11th generation descendant of General Yun Gwan (윤관). Originally a concubine of the King, she was elevated to queen rank after Han Song-yi's death. The ousting of the Queen in 1479, and her subsequent death by poison in 1482 became a source of recurrent political turmoil, culminating with the First literati purge organized in 1498 by Yeonsan in the 4th year of his reign. Pungsan Sim clan () was one of the Korean clans. Their Bon-gwan was in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province. According to the research in 2015, the number of Pungsan Sim clan was 11187. Their founder was who was from Zhejiang. He visited Goryeo for business in 1110 and was settled in Pungsan. He excelled at literature. Injo of Joseon (7 December 1595 – 17 June 1649), born Yi Jong, was the sixteenth ruler of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea. He was the grandson of King Seonjo and son of Prince Jeongwon. He was the king during the Later Jin invasion of Joseon, in which Later Jin withdrew the armies after their demands were met. However, in the subsequent Qing invasion, King Injo surrendered in 1636, agreeing to the subjugating terms outlined by the Qing. Wonjong of Joseon or Prince Jeongwon (2 August 1580 – 2 February 1619) was a prince during the Joseon dynasty. He was a son by a concubine to the Joseon dynasty's 14th monarch, king Seonjo, and half brother of king Gwanghaegun and father of king Injo. His birth name was Yi Bu (이부, 李琈). He first held the title of Prince Jeongwon (定遠君, 정원군) and later re-titled as Grand Internal Prince Jeongwon (定遠大院君, 정원대원군). Queen Jeongsun (Hangul:정순왕후 송씨, Hanja:定順王后 宋氏) (1440 – 7 July 1521), of the Yeosan Song clan, was a posthumous name bestowed to the wife and queen consort of Yi Hong-wi, King Danjong, the 6th Joseon monarch. She was queen consort of Joseon from 1454 until her husband's abdication in 1455, after which she was honoured as Queen Dowager Uideok (의덕왕대비) until her deposition in 1457. Sejong The Great
Sejong of Joseon (15 May 1397 – 8 April 1450), personal name Yi Do (Korean: 이도; Hanja: 李祹), widely known as Sejong the Great (Korean: 세종대왕; Hanja: 世宗大王), was the fourth ruler of the Joseon dynasty of Korea.
