Prince Miler
The Prince Miler is a medium-sized pickup truck built by the Prince Motor Company. It remained on the market for four years after the 1966 merger, when Prince dealerships became integrated within Nissan's organization as '' Nissan Prince Store''. By 1970, however, it was integrated with Nissan's newest generation of their offering in this class, the Junior. History In September 1957 Prince, the automotive branch of Fuji Precision Industries, introduced the three-seat Miler (AOTH-1/AQTH-1) as a successor to the 1952 Prince Truck (AFTF). Originally a 1.25 ton truck with a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder (FG4), the AFTF truck went through eight iterations, culminating in a 1.5 ton, 60 PS version of the original. Prince Motor Company
The Prince Motor Company (Japanese: ) was an automobile marque from Japan which eventually merged into Nissan in 1966. It began as the Tachikawa Aircraft Company, a manufacturer of various airplanes for the Japanese Army in World War II, e.g., the Ki-36, Ki-55 and Ki-74. Tachikawa Aircraft Company was dissolved after the war and the company took the name Fuji Precision Industries. It diversified into automobiles, producing an electric car, the Tama, in 1946, named for the region the company originated in, Tama, using the Ohta series PC/PD platform. The company changed its name to Prince in 1952 to honor Akihito's formal investiture as Crown Prince of the nation. Nissan H Engine
The Nissan H series of automobile engines is an evolution of the Nissan "R" engine which was based on the 1.5-liter, three-main bearing "G" engine used in the 1960s. Both inline-four and inline-six versions were produced. It is a pushrod OHV design with iron block, early models with an iron head, later models with aluminum head. Versions of this motor have been used in many Nissan autos and forklifts, well into the eighties and a version called H20II is still in production today.
