"PrimeTime" is a song by American psychedelic soul and Contemporary R&B, R&B singer Janelle Monáe featuring Miguel (singer), Miguel. It was released on August 19, 2013, as the third single from Monáe's second studio album, ''The Electric Lady''. The song has charted at number 20 on the ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, and at number 36 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. A single containing two remixes of the song was released digitally on February 25, 2014. Janelle Monáe Robinson (; born December 1, 1985) is an American singer, rapper and actress. She is signed to Atlantic Records, as well as to her own imprint, the Wondaland Arts Society. Monáe has received eight Grammy Award nominations. Monáe won an MTV Video Music Award and the ASCAP Vanguard Award in 2010. Monáe was also honored with the ''Billboard'' Women in Music Rising Star Award in 2015 and the Trailblazer of the Year Award in 2018. In 2012, Monáe became a CoverGirl spokesperson.
