Pretty Little Liars (season 1)
The first season of ''Pretty Little Liars'', based on the books of the same name by Sara Shepard, premiered on June 8, 2010 and concluded on March 21, 2011 on ABC Family. The show premiered to 2.47 million viewers and retained a regular audience of 2.5 million viewers during its summer run. The summer finale scored 3.07 million viewers, achieving a series high. The show went on hiatus and returned with its winter premiere on January 3, 2011, with 4.20 million viewers, becoming one of ABC Family's top telecasts to date. Troian Bellisario
Troian Avery Bellisario (born October 28, 1985) is an American actress. A graduate of the University of Southern California, in 2010, she received her breakthrough role as Spencer Hastings in the Freeform drama series ''Pretty Little Liars'' (20102017), for which she received worldwide recognition and multiple awards and nominations. Early life Bellisario was born and raised in Los Angeles. Her parents are producers Deborah Pratt and Donald P. Keegan Phillip Allen (born July 22, 1989) is an American actor, photographer, author and musician known for his main role as Toby Cavanaugh on the Freeform series ''Pretty Little Liars.'' Early life Allen was born and raised in California, the son of actor Phillip R. Allen and artist Joan Snyder Allen. In 2009, he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Allen is Jewish, as is his mother. Career Allen's passion in his younger years tended towards photography, cinematography and other roles behind the camera. Emily Catherine Fields is a fictional character created in 2006 by author Sara Shepard. She is a character of both ''Pretty Little Liars'' books and television series, and initially appears as a " jock girl" and one of the main protagonists of the story. She is part of the group known as the Liars; and is best friends with the four other members, who are also protagonists. Emily is known for her description and shyness, as well as being part of a conservative family, the Fields. Emily's characteristics and stories have the same methodology in both books and television.
