Premios Oye!
Premios Oye! (Premio Nacional a la Música Grabada) were presented annually by the ''Academia Nacional de la Música en México'' from 2003 to 2013 with the exception of 2011 when they were not presented, for outstanding achievements in the Mexican record industry. The televised awards ceremony featured performances by important national and international artists like Robbie Williams, Sarah Brightman, Shakira, Juanes, Paul McCartney and Lily Allen among others. The awards were established in 2002 by the ANAMUSA (Academia Nacional de la Música) in order to reward composers, artists, record companies and every person who is involved in the music industry. This recognized the very best of musical production without counting the position where the artists charted in the Mexican Albums Chart. The equivalent of Premios Oye! (Spanish, meaning "Listen! Belanova
Belanova was a Mexican pop music, pop band that formed in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, in 2000. The group consisted of Denisse Guerrero (lead vocals), Edgar Huerta (keyboards, programming) and Ricardo "Richie" Arreola (Bass (instrument), bass, guitar). ''MTV Unplugged'' is the first live album recorded by Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas. The album features a selection of her greatest hits, along with new tracks, including the singles "El Presente" and "Algún Día". ''Fantasía Pop'' (Pop Fantasy) is the third studio album by the Mexican electropop band Belanova. It was released in September 2007 in Mexico, Spain, the United States and the rest of Latin America. The album was recorded in Argentina. The first single, "Baila Mi Corazón" premiered on July 2 on Mexican radio station Los 40 Principales. The album was certified gold by AMPROFON in Mexico only three days after its release, for selling over 50,000 copies. The album entered the Mexican charts at number eighteen and went to number one in its third week. "Baila Mi Corazón" ranked in the top twenty in the U.S. Latin Pop Charts. "Cada Que..." went on to sell over 200,000 downloads in the United States alone. La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de René Camacho, or simply La Arrolladora, is a Mexican banda from Mazatlán, Sinaloa. In 1997 they signed with Sony Music Latin. In 2003, they switched labels and signed with Disa Records. History Banda El Limón was formed in 1965 in El Limón de los Peraza, Sinaloa by Pedro Aramburo, Encarnación Peraza, Lino Quintero, Carlos Peraza and Pedro Peraza. The Banda began performing in the port of Mazatlán, and in 1976, Salvador Lizárraga assumed the direction of the Banda.
