Prehab
Prehab, previously known as the Bedspins, is an American band that formed in 1992 in Tempe, Arizona. History In the 1990s the band was known as the Bedspins and were a popular fixture on the Tempe music scene. Tempe was referred to as "The Next Seattle" by the music industry during this time. The band played along Tempe Arizona's Mill Avenue for many years and also played shows in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. During this time the band opened shows for bands such as Blood Hound Gang and Def Leppard. The Bedspins began working with producer Andy Barrett who had worked with Gin Blossoms and Stevie Nicks on an album of original material. The band played an average of 200 shows a year between 1993 and 1996. During this time the Bedspins were approached by Virgin Records and Island Records. Ardent Studios
Ardent Studios is an American recording studio located in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. History Ardent Studios was founded by John Fry and were initially a studio in his family's garage, where he recorded his first 45s for the Ardent Records label. Equipment in the studio included an Altec tube mixing console, Ampex 2-track tape recorder, Pultec equalizer, and Neumann microphones. In 1966 the studios moved to a commercial location at 1457 National Street, which was shared with a bookshop. Tom Dowd was consulting with Auditronics on an early multitrack console for nearby Stax Records, and Fry ordered the same input modules for his second mixing board. When the studio upgraded to a Scully 4-track tape recorder, Ardent became the first 4-track studio in Memphis. It was also the first studio in the area to use EMT plate reverbs. Sonic Ranch
Sonic Ranch, in the border town of Tornillo, Texas, is the world's largest residential recording studio complex. There are five studios designed by Vincent Van Haaff on a pecan orchard, which borders the Rio Grande and Mexico. Located east of El Paso, Texas, in the border town of Tornillo, there are five houses on the property where artists stay while recording. The studio was founded in 1989 by the current owner/director Tony Rancich around a large traditional Spanish hacienda, which is an adobe structure that was built in the late 1930s, with pine-tree vigas as the ceiling structure. Some rock bands have noted the calm, rural wilderness and easy access to Ciudad Juárez across the border. Owen Morris
Owen Morris (born in Caernarfon, Wales) is a Welsh record producer who has worked with rock bands including Oasis (band), Oasis, the Fratellis, Ash (band), Ash, The View (band), the View, Loso and the Verve. Biography Morris started working in the music industry as a sound engineer at Spaceward Studio in Cambridge, England when he was 16. He continued as an engineer until 1994, when he mixed and mastered Oasis's debut album ''Definitely Maybe''. He continued working with Oasis for their subsequent two albums ''(What's the Story) Morning Glory?'' (1995) and ''Be Here Now (album), Be Here Now'' (1997).
