Prakash Shetty is an Indian cartoonist and caricaturist known for his Spot caricaturing. Personal life Prakash Shetty was born in Mangalore, Karnataka on 1 April 1960. He earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts. Career He started drawing cartoons at the age of 15. He started his career with a Kannada magazine called ''Santhosha'' (later renamed as ''Dukha'') and an English daily called ''The Times Of Deccan'' and Myru ''Kannada Daily''. He settled as cartoonist with ''The Week ''The Week'' is a weekly news magazine with editions in the United Kingdom and United States. Tulu People
The Tulu people or Tuluvas are an ethno-linguistic group from Southern India. They are native speakers of the Tulu language and the region they traditionally inhabit is known as Tulu Nadu. This region comprises the districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi in Karnataka and a part of Kasaragod district in Kerala, with Mangalore, Karnataka being the commercial hub. The Census report of 2011 reported a population of 1,846,427 native Tulu speakers living in India.
