Prakash Sarkar
Prakash Sarkar (born 15 February 1997) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for I-League club Delhi. Career Prakash Sarkar started his career with the youth academy of Pune FC under then coach Ranjan Chowdhury and participated in the 2015-16 U-18 I-League and reached the final round. In 2016-17, he joined East Bengal FC and played for the East Bengal F.C. U-18 side, again under Ranjan Chowdhury, which became runners-up in the 2016-17 U-18 I-League. East Bengal FC 2017-18 In 2017-18, under coach Khalid Jamil, Prakash Sarkar after his excellent performance for the East Bengal F.C. U-18 side, was promoted to the senior squad and he made his debut in the Calcutta Football League going on to make 5 appearances in total. Ashoknagar Kalyangarh (অশোকনগর কল্যাণগড়) is a city and a municipality in Barasat Sadar subdivision of North 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India. Ashoknagar is the first discovered oil field in West Bengal and East India. The oil field was discovered in 2018 by ONGC. The 2016–17 I-League U18 was the ninth season of the Indian I-League U18 and the second season of the competition as an under-18 one. The 2017–18 season is East Bengal FC's 98th season in existence. The club has won the Calcutta Football League this season for the record consecutive 8th time. 2019 Durand Cup
The 2019 Durand Cup was the 129th edition of the Durand Cup, oldest football tournament in Asia, since the tournament's founding in 1888. 16 teams competed in the tournament. The matches were played across three locations in West Bengal, namely Kolkata, Howrah and Kalyani from 2 August 2019. The final took place at the Salt Lake Stadium on 24 August 2019. Army Green were the defending champions, having defeated NEROCA in the 2016 final, however they did not qualify for the semi-finals having finished last in the group. The 2018 Hero Super Cup was the inaugural edition of the Super Cup (India), Super Cup and 39th season of the main club Single-elimination tournament, knockout association football, football competition in India. The competition is sponsored by Hero MotoCorp and is officially known as the Hero Super Cup. The competition began with the qualifiers on 15 March 2018 and concluded with the final on 20 April 2018.
