The Prairie Rose State Games was a multi-sport event for athletes from the U.S. State of North Dakota. It was part of the State Games of America. The first games were held in Bismarck, North Dakota in 1987, and the last games were held in July 2011. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. Volksmarching (from German "", ''people's march'') is a form of non-competitive fitness walking that developed in Europe in the mid-late 1960s. By 1968, the International Federation of Popular Sports (better known as the "IVV") was formed by Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Softball
