Prague Lions
The Prague Lions are an American football team based in the Czech capital of Prague. The team will play in the European League of Football since 2023. The team was founded in 1991, making it the oldest in the Czech Republic. Successes The Prague Lions won the Czech Bowl six times: 1998, 2004-2006, 2019 and 2022. Prague
Prague ( ; cs, Praha ; german: Prag, ; la, Praga) is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic, and the historical capital of Bohemia. The Czech Republic, or simply Czechia, is a landlocked country in Central Europe. Historically known as Bohemia, it is bordered by Austria to the south, Germany to the west, Poland to the northeast, and Slovakia to the southeast. European League Of Football
The European League of Football (ELF) is a professional American football league. The league (as of the 2023 season) consists of 17 teams located in Germany, Poland, Spain, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Czech Republic and France, with plans to expand to 24 teams in 2025. The new league was officially created in November 2020, and kicked off on 19 June 2021. History The announcement of the league was met with skepticism from some Germans involved in the sport due to the failures of similar leagues in the past.
