Powersville is an unincorporated community located in Bracken County, Kentucky, United States. History A post office called Powersville was established in 1831, and remained in operation until 1904. John F. Power, the postmaster, gave the community its name. An inn and tavern once stood in the community at the junction of KY 19 and 10, serving during the mid to late 1800s as an overnight stagecoach stopover on the road connecting Augusta and Cynthiana.
