Powerless (comics)
''Powerless'' is a six-issue comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics which ran from 2004 in comics, 2004 to 2005 in comics, 2005. The series was written by Matt Cherniss and Peter Johnson (comics), Peter Johnson and penciled by artist Michael Gaydos. Plot summary A psychologist named Uatu, William Watts wakes up in a hospital after a three-day coma. Fresh in his mind is the world of Earth-616, which he experienced while asleep. As William returns to his mundane daily life, he encounters three familiar faces: Spider-Man, Peter Parker, a high-school student who is pressured by Norman Osborn to conduct industrial espionage on Stark Industries; a blind lawyer, Daredevil (Marvel Comics character), Matt Murdock, who battles an uphill case against the Kingpin (character), Kingpin to absolve Punisher, Frank Castle of murder; and an amnesiac soldier named Wolverine (character), Logan, who is led to believe he murdered Professor X, Charles Xavier. Alex Maleev
Alex Maleev (Bulgarian: Алекс Малеев) is a Bulgarian comic book illustrator, best known for the Marvel Comics' series '' Daredevil'' (vol. 2) with frequent collaborator Brian Michael Bendis. Career Coming from a fine arts background, Maleev made his first foray into comics in Bulgaria for ''Godan'' (''Годън'' in Bulgarian) and ''Carthel of Dead'' published in ''Riko'' magazine since 1991 and 1992, respectively. Upon arriving in the United States in 1995, he enrolled at The Kubert School where, within a month, he was promoted from first to second year status at the suggestion of instructor Alec Stevens. Maleev left the school in early 1996, already securing professional comics work on James O'Barr's The Crow (''Dead Time'' and ''Flesh and Blood'') and subsequently storyboarding the "Lost in Space" film at Continuity Associates before entering a successful run at DC Comics on ''Batman: No Man's Land''. Joseph Quesada (; born January 12, 1962'' Comics Buyer's Guide'' #1650; February 2009; page 107) is an American comic book artist, writer, editor, and television producer. He became known in the 1990s for his work on various Valiant Comics books, such as ''Ninjak'' and ''Solar, Man of the Atom''. He later worked on numerous books for DC Comics and Marvel Comics, such as '' Batman: Sword of Azrael'' and ''X-Factor'', before forming his own company, Event Comics, where he published his creator-owned character, Ash. In 1998 he became an editor of Marvel Comics' Marvel Knights line, before becoming editor-in-chief of the company in 2000.
