Power To The People (Poison Album)
''Power to the People'' is an album by the American rock band Poison, released on June 13, 2000 on the band's independent label, Cyanide Music. It marked the return of the original lineup, together for the first time since 1991's '' Swallow This Live'' with the return of C.C. DeVille who replaced Blues Saraceno. The album is a part studio, part live album consisting of five newly recorded studio tracks and 12 live tracks from Poison's successful 1999–2000 greatest hits reunion tour. The album was re-packaged and re-released in 2006 as '' Great Big Hits Live! Bootleg'' without the studio tracks or drum and guitar solos. Poison is an American glam metal band formed in 1983, in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The ''Billboard'' 200 is a record chart ranking the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States. It is published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine and is frequently used to convey the popularity of an artist or groups of artists. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. "The Last Song" is a power ballad by American hard rock band Poison. It was the second and final single from their 2000 album, '' Power to the People''. "The Last Song" was one of five new tracks on the half live half studio album, the others being " Power to the People" (first single), "Strange", Can't Bring Me Down" and for the first time on vocals C.C. DeVille sings the track "I Hate Every Bone In Your Body But Mine". The song was released as a single in July 2000 under the bands Cyanide Records. ''Poison Greatest Video Hits'' is the fifth DVD/video from the rock band Poison, released in 2001 following the success of the VH1 Behind the Music episode of the band. Background The DVD was released following the Poison album '' Power to the People'' and features every Poison music video up to this point including the latest video, the album titled track " Power to the People" . Every Poison album featured music videos up to this point except for the album Crack a Smile...and More!.
