Poulomi Ghatak
Poulomi Ghatak (Bengali: পৌলমী ঘটক; born 3 January 1983) is a table tennis player from West Bengal, India. She won three junior national championships (1996, 1998 and 1999) as well as seven senior national championships between 1998 and 2016. In 1998 she won both the senior national and junior national championships. Poulomi has represented India at the Commonwealth Games at Melbourne in 2006 and the Commonwealth Championships between 2000 and 2008. She played at the Sydney Olympics when she was 16. She also played in the Indian Open finals in 2007. She started playing in 1992 and thereafter went on a successful upward learning curve. Poulomi is ranked #22 amongst women players in India as per the 2018 rankings of the Table Tennis Federation of India. Shamini Kumaresan
Shamini Kumaresan ( ta, ஷாமினி குமரேசன்; born 1988) is a professional table tennis player from Tamil Nadu, India. She did her schooling from Atomic Energy Central School Kalpakkam and Adarsh Vidyalaya, Chennai. She led the women's team which won the silver in the 19th Commonwealth table tennis championship held at Delhi in 2010. Mamta Prabhu
Mamta Prabhu (Marathi:ममता प्रभू, born 1 March 1983) is a table tennis player from Maharashtra, India. She is an integral part of the Indian women Table Tennis team. As of July 2011, she is ranked 356rd in the overall International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) women rankings. She stands 4th in the Indian contingent. Early life Mamta Prabhu is an alumnus of the S. E. S. high school and junior college, Thane. She started playing Table Tennis at a young age of 8 years in 1991. World Table Tennis Championships
The World Table Tennis Championships are table tennis competitions sanctioned by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). The World Championships have been held since 1926, biennially since 1957. Five individual events, which include men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's double and mixed doubles, are currently held in odd numbered years. The World Team Table Tennis Championships, which include men's team and women's team events, were first their own competition in 2000. The Team Championships are held in even numbered years. Chile Open (tennis)
The Chile Open (also known as the Chile Dove Men+Care Open for sponsorship reasons) is a professional men's tennis tournament played on outdoor red clay courts in Santiago, Chile. In its history it was held alternately in Viña del Mar city and in 2010, Colina. It is part of the ATP Tour 250 of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour and part of the four-tournament Golden Swing. History In 1992, Brazil suspended its three ATP tournaments.
