Poul Petersen (footballer)
Poul Eyvind Petersen (11 April 1921 – 31 May 1997) was a Danish amateur football player and manager. During his career he played for AB, and earned 34 caps for the Denmark national football team from 1946 to 1952. He won a bronze medal in football at the 1948 Summer Olympics, and also participated four years later in the 1952 Olympics. He was manager of the national team from 1962 to 1966. Biography Poul Petersen started his career as an attacker, and was one of legendary centre forward Carl "Skoma'r" Hansen's best students. Petersen was a quick player, with great technique and a fierce shot. He made his senior debut for Akademisk Boldklub (AB) in the inside forward position, but eventually settled in the defense as a full-back. Poul Pedersen
Poul Ebbesen Pedersen (31 October 1932 – 23 December 2016), simply known as Poul Pedersen, was a Danish amateur football (soccer) player, who won a silver medal with the Denmark national football team at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He was the first player to reach 50 caps for the Danish national team, scoring 17 national team goals in the process. On the club level, Pedersen played his entire career for Aarhus club AIA. Pedersen played the position of inside forward for AIA but was moved out as an outside winger when representing the Danish national team. He was a box-to-box midfielder, often making last-ditch saves as a defender before sprinting the length of the field to participate in attacking moves. He was a quick player with great sportsmanship. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. Luxembourg National Football Team

1964 European Nations' Cup
The 1964 European Nations' Cup was the second edition of the UEFA European Championship. The final tournament was held in Spain. It was won by the hosts 2–1 over the defending champions, the Soviet Union. The tournament was a knockout competition; 29 teams entered (Greece withdrew after being drawn against Albania). The Soviet Union, Austria and Luxembourg received byes to the round of 16. The teams played home-and-away matches until the semi-finals; the final four teams would move on to the final tournament, whose host was selected after the teams became known. Luxembourg proved to be the giant-killers of the qualifying rounds; they beat the Netherlands 3–2 on aggregate (1–1 and 2–1), and then drew with Denmark 3–3 and 2–2, before losing the replay 1–0. Arne Sørensen (Danish Footballer)
Arne Sørensen (27 November 1917 – 1 May 1977) was a Danish association football player and coach. In his playing career, Sørensen won a total three Danish championships with B 1903 and B 93, before moving abroad to play professionally in French football. He played 30 games and scored four goals as a midfielder for the Denmark national football team.
