Soul (South Korean TV Series)
''Soul'' (; also known as ''Possessed'') is a 2009 South Korean crime horror television drama series, starring Lim Ju-eun and Lee Seo-jin. It is about a high school girl possessed by spirits and the criminal profiler who exploits her powers in his quest for justice, played by Im and Lee respectively. ''Repossessed'' is a 1990 American comedy film that parodies the 1973 horror film, ''The Exorcist''. It was written and directed by Bob Logan. The film features the original star of ''The Exorcist'', Linda Blair, as well as Leslie Nielsen and Anthony Starke. Many gags parodied events in ''The Exorcist'', such as the green-vomit and head-spinning scenes, and real-life events such as the televangelist scandals of the 1980s Plot In 1973, Father Jebediah Mayii casts out the devil from the body of young Nancy Aglet. Possessed (roller Coaster)
Possessed is an Inverted Impulse launched roller coaster located at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Manufactured by Intamin and designed by Werner Stengel, the roller coaster originally debuted at Six Flags Ohio amusement park as Superman: Ultimate Escape on May 5, 2000. After Cedar Fair purchased the park and renamed it back to Geauga Lake in early 2004, the coaster was immediately renamed Steel Venom. The ride closed in 2006 and was moved to Dorney Park. It reopened in 2008 briefly under the name Voodoo, and was renamed Possessed for the 2009 season. The model is identical to five other impulse coaster installations at other amusement parks. A larger version called Wicked Twister was located at Cedar Point until its closure in September 2021. ''Possessed'' is the fourth studio album by English heavy metal band Venom, released in April 1985. It is the band's last studio album to feature guitarist Jeffrey Dunn before his first departure from the band in 1986. The discography of Gojira, a French heavy metal band, consists of seven studio albums, three live albums, one film score album (live), four demo albums, one extended plays, ten singles, seventeen music videos, and three video albums. Gojira was formed in 1996 under the name Godzilla by guitarist Joe Duplantier, his brother, drummer Mario Duplantier, guitarist Christian Andreu, and bassist Alexandre Cornillon. ''Possessed'' ( pl, Opętani) is a 1939 novel by the Polish writer Witold Gombrowicz, published under the pseudonym Zdzisław Niewieski. It is a pastiche of gothic and serial novels in the vein of Horace Walpole and Eugène Sue. Publication The novel was serialised in the summer 1939 in two Polish daily newspapers, under the pseudonym Zdzisław Niewieski. Only the first two parts were published before the outbreak of World War II. Witold Gombrowicz never claimed authorship of the work until a few days before his death in 1969. It was first published in book form in 1973 and translated from a French translation into English in 1980 by J. A. Underwood. In 1986, the three final parts of the novel were discovered. Elif Batuman (born 1977) is an American author, academic, and journalist. She is the author of three books: a memoir, ''The Possessed'', and the novels ''The Idiot,'' which was a finalist for the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, and ''Either/Or''. Batuman is a staff writer for ''The New Yorker''. Early life Elif Batuman was born in New York City to Turkish parents, and grew up in New Jersey. ''The Possessed'' (in French ''Les Possédés'') is a three-part play written by Albert Camus in 1959. The piece is a theatrical adaptation of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's 1872 novel '' The Possessed'', later renamed ''Demons''. Camus despised nihilism and viewed Dostoyevsky's work as a prophecy about nihilism's devastating effects. He directed a production of the play at the Théâtre Antoine in 1959, the year before he died, which he financed in part with the money he received with his Nobel Prize.
