Portveien 2
''Portveien 2'' was a children's TV-show produced by NRK, which premiered on 19 March 1985. It has had many reruns, and has become a part of Norwegian TV history. The show produced 140 episodes. The outdoor footage for the series was filmed in a little house in the allotment gardens at Sagene in Oslo, Norway. Portveien 2 is not a real address, the closest street is Kongsvingergata. The series was NRK's first production where the shootings were rationalised, so one could make a large volume of episodes. ''Portveien 2'' was an attempt to make a children's show for the youngest children and at the same time engage the whole family. The themes in the shows were generally attached to nature, but also to fairytales, traditions, feelings and other social relationships. Giraffe
The giraffe is a large African hoofed mammal belonging to the genus ''Giraffa''. It is the tallest living terrestrial animal and the largest ruminant on Earth. Puppet
A puppet is an object, often resembling a human, animal or Legendary creature, mythical figure, that is animated or manipulated by a person called a puppeteer. Jarl Goli
Jarl Einar Goli (born 23 April 1957) is working as a painter today. He has been a Norwegian actor and television personality in former times. He enrolled at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1978, and started a career in acting. He was a stage actor at Den Nationale Scene before appearing on television for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. He quickly made his breakthrough with Eli Rygg in the children's show '' Portveien 2'' in the mid-1980s. In 1985 Goli was awarded the ''Se og Hør'' readers' TV personality of the year award. He left ''Portveien 2'' after about 70 episodes, and hosted the 1986 Melodi Grand Prix as well as the radio programs ''Norsktoppen'' and '' Reiseradioen''. Eli Rygg
Eli Rygg (born 22 September 1955) is a Norwegian television personality and children's writer. She grew up in Veblungsnes and moved to Levanger at the age of 12. She attended folk high school in Skogn and Inderøy. She had a daughter as a teenager (in 1973), and studied domestic science and childcare in Skatval, and thereafter found work in Stjørdal. In 1985 she moved to Oslo as she was drafted by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation to star in the children's television show ''Portveien 2''.
