Port Townsend High School is located in Port Townsend, Washington. It is one of the oldest in Washington State, graduating its first class in 1891. Port Townsend High School is a comprehensive public high school, serving approximately 350 students in grades 9-12 in 2018, and is fully approved and accredited by the State of Washington and the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Port Townsend is a city on the Quimper Peninsula in Jefferson County, Washington, United States. The population was 10,148 at the 2020 United States Census. It is the county seat and only incorporated city of Jefferson County. The Milwaukee Bucks are an American professional basketball team based in Milwaukee. The Bucks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Central Division. John Stroeder
John Stroeder (born July 24, 1958) is an American former professional basketball player. Born in Bremerton, Washington, he attended the University of Montana. Despite being taken in the draft in 1980 (by the Portland Trail Blazers), the 6'10" power forward began his short NBA career with the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1987-88 season, appearing in 41 games and averaging 1.9 points and 1.7 rebounds per contest. After the season, he was selected in the 1988 expansion draft by one of the league's two newest franchises, the Miami Heat, but did not play a game for them. Marvin Glenn Shields (December 30, 1939 – June 10, 1965) was the first and only United States Navy Seabee (US Navy), Seabee to be awarded the Medal of Honor. Jeffrey Edward Sherman (born March 15, 1952) is an American musician. He is a founding member of the band Glass and several other bands, as well as a solo artist who has released both under his own name and under the pseudonym Jeff Joad. Glass is a progressive rock trio from the Pacific Northwest. The group consists of Greg Sherman (born 1954) on keyboards, vibes & Mellotron, his brother Jeff Sherman (b. 1952) on bass guitar, guitar, bass pedals and keyboards, and their childhood friend Jerry Cook (b. 1953) on drums and percussion. History Glass began in the 1960s as a Port Townsend-based rock band called The Vaguest Notion, playing covers and the occasional original piece. Art McLarney
Arthur James McLarney (December 20, 1908 – December 20, 1984) was an Irish American professional baseball player whose career spanned three seasons, one of which was spent in Major League Baseball (MLB) with the New York Giants (1932). Over his major league career, he compiled a .130 batting average with two runs scored, three hits, one double, and three run batted in (RBIs) in nine games played. Defensively, he played seven games at shortstop. McLarney also played two season in the minor leagues with the Class-A Williamsport Grays (1933), and the Double-A Seattle Indians (1933–34).
