Popular Action (''Azione Popolare'', AP) was a conservative political party in Italy. It was founded by Silvano Moffa as an association of former members of National Alliance who left Future and Freedom to return into the centre-right fold in late 2010. Silvano Moffa
Silvano Moffa (born 21 April 1951 in Rome, Lazio) is an Italian politician and journalist. Biography Moffa joined the Italian Social Movement in 1970 and in 1973 he was elected municipal councilor in Colleferro. In 1975 he became journalist of the newspaper Secolo d'Italia, of which he became editor-in-chief in 1977. He left the newspaper in 1989 to devote himself more to politics. In 1993 Moffa was elected Mayor of Colleferro with the 51.0% of the vote and he was reconfirmed in 1997, with the 66.5% of the vote. He remained Mayor of Colleferro until 2001. In 1998 he was also elected President of Province of Rome with the 51.1% of the vote, but he was defeated by Enrico Gasbarra. In 2004 he was elected for the third time Mayor of Colleferro, with the 50.6% of the vote. Future and Freedom ( it, Futuro e Libertà), whose full name was Future and Freedom for Italy (''Futuro e Libertà per l'Italia'', abbreviated to FLI), was a political party in Italy, comprising both liberal and national conservative elements. FLI was formed by followers of Gianfranco Fini in July 2010 as a split from The People of Freedom (PdL), the major Italian centre-right party of the time, led by Silvio Berlusconi. Fini, former leader of the Italian Social Movement (MSI) and National Alliance (AN) and co-founder of the PdL in 2009, had taken a long journey from post-fascism to become a liberal conservative. People and Territory (''Popolo e Territorio'', PT), originally Responsible Initiative (''Iniziativa Responsabile''), was a centre-right parliamentary party active in the Chamber of Deputies of Italy in 2011–2013. Launched on 20 January 2011, the group was supportive of Berlusconi IV Cabinet. A large majority of its members were elected in Southern Italy. Its counterpart in the Senate was National Cohesion, which was composed mainly of splinters from Future and Freedom. The Chamber of Deputies ( it, Camera dei deputati) is the lower house of the bicameral Italian Parliament (the other being the Senate of the Republic). The two houses together form a perfect bicameral system, meaning they perform identical functions, but do so separately. The party's leader is Francesco Saverio Romano, a former Sicilian leader of the Union of the Centre and, later, minister of Agriculture in Silvio Berlusconi's fourth government. The Populars of Italy Tomorrow (''I Popolari di Italia Domani'', PID) was a Christian-democratic political party in Italy whose power base was in Sicily. It is currently affiliated with Forza Italia. PID was launched on 28 September 2010 by five splinter deputies (four from Sicily and one from Campania) of the Union of the Centre (UdC) led by Francesco Saverio Romano, the UdC leader in Sicily. They dissented with the party's support to Raffaele Lombardo's fourth regional government and chose to vote in favour of Silvio Berlusconi in a vote of confidence on 29 September in the Chamber of Deputies. Extended Christian Pact
The Extended Christian Pact (''Patto Cristiano Esteso'', PACE) was a Christian-conservative political party in Italy founded by Gilberto Perri in 1994. The party takes example from the Christian Coalition in the United States and is one of the few examples of Christian right parties in Europe. Although most of its members are Evangelicals or Pentecostals, the party is not officially associated with any denomination. The party's founder and leader is Gilberto Perri, a Pentecostal pastor, who has been one of the founding members of Christian Coalition International with Pat Robertson in 1999. Januarius ( ; la, Ianuarius; Neapolitan and it, Gennaro), also known as , was Bishop of Benevento and is a martyr and saint of the Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church.
