Ponnur
Ponnur is a town in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. There was a festival on full moon day in May. A road to Chandole goes south-east and comes to Nidubrolu, where there is a temple with a stone bearing inscription recording the erection of 90 temple in A.D. 1132. An ancient Telugu manuscript entitled 'Ponnuru-Chandavolu Shasanam' was present in Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University. Guntur district is one of the twenty six districts in the Coastal Andhra region of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Ponnur mandal is one of the 57 mandals in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election
The 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections were held in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on 11 April 2019 for constituting the fifteenth Legislative Assembly in the state. They were held alongside the 2019 Indian general election. The YSR Congress Party won the election in a landslide, winning 151 of the 175 seats, with the incumbent Telugu Desam Party winning just 23. Tenali is a city in Guntur district of the States and union territories of India, Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
