Polícia (song)
"Polícia" is the fifth single by Titãs, from the album ''Cabeça Dinossauro'', released in 1986. The song, written just after Tony Bellotto and Arnaldo Antunes were arrested for heroin traffic, criticizes the police. According to Branco Mello, vocalist of the band, the album ''Cabeça Dinossauro'' had "much of that disappointment of being arrested and to know you are not a criminal". Sérgio Britto recorded the first take of his lead vocals while overhearing a conversation between producer Liminha and Evandro Mesquita about spearfishing, which made him angry. He wanted to record a second performance, but his band mates convinced him the first attempt was fine. Besides, he only had three minutes to record his part. Originally, nobody wanted to take on lead vocals for the song, which Bellotto wrote having Paulo Miklos in mind. The members didn't even think "Polícia" had any potential at all. Titãs
Titãs () are a Brazilian rock band from São Paulo. Though they basically play pop/alternative rock, their music has touched a number of other styles throughout their 30-year career, such as new wave, punk rock, grunge, MPB and electronic music. They are one of the most successful rock bands in Brazil, having sold more than 6.3 million albums as of 2005 and having been covered by several well-known Brazilian artists and a couple of international singers. They were awarded a Latin Grammy in 2009 and have won the Imprensa Trophy for Best Band a record four times. AA UU
"AA UU" is the fourth single by Titãs, released in 1986. Most of this song consists simply of Sérgio Britto screaming "AA", while the other vocalists reply with "UU". The band Símios made a cover of this song. The song was featured on the Rede Globo telenovela '' Hiper Tensão'' and on the soundtrack for the 2008 film '' Meu Nome Não É Johnny''. A song they already played in shows before working on the album, it was the first track to be recorded for ''Cabeça Dinossauro''. The track received some airplay, but not without resistance. Territory (song)
"Territory" is Sepultura's fifth official single, and the second of the three to be taken from the album ''Chaos A.D.'', released in 1993. Like most of the band's singles, the song is one of the band's best-known songs and remains a concert staple to this day. The artwork for the single is not easily discernible. It depicts a monument of some sort. The image is overlaid with the band's thorned 'S' logo. Releases "Territory" saw relatively few variations upon its release compared to the other singles from the album. The CD came in a standard slimline jewel case, rather than the usual digipak, and only one version was released. The single was also released as a 12" vinyl record, with only " Polícia" as a B-side. The A-side and B-side are the two sides of phonograph records and cassettes; these terms have often been printed on the labels of two-sided music recordings.
