The western tree frog, Charpa tree frog, or Nagercoil whipping frog (''Polypedates occidentalis'') is a species of frog in the family Rhacophoridae Endemism, endemic to India.Das, I., & Dutta, S.K. Someshwara Wildlife Sanctuary
Someshwara Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected wildlife sanctuary in the Western Ghats of Karnataka state in India. It is named after the presiding deity "Lord Someshwara" of the famed Someshwara temple located within the sanctuary. The sanctuary lies in Udupi & Shivamogga districts of Karnataka, below Agumbe. The sanctuary houses Sitanadi nature camp run by Karnataka Forest Department. Udupi to Agumbe road passes through this wildlife sanctuary. Charmadi Ghat (Charmady) is a Ghat in Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada and Mudigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru. It is one of the points in Western ghats through which motorable road passes connecting Dakshina Kannada with Chikkamagaluru district. The section of ghat is known by the name of Charmadi Ghat.
