Politics Of Shanxi
The politics of Shanxi Province in the People's Republic of China is structured in a dual party-government system like all other governing institutions in mainland China. The Governor of Shanxi (山西省长) is the highest-ranking official in the People's Government of Shanxi. Shanxi
Shanxi (; ; formerly romanised as Shansi) is a landlocked province of the People's Republic of China and is part of the North China region. The capital and largest city of the province is Taiyuan, while its next most populated prefecture-level cities are Changzhi and Datong. Its one-character abbreviation is "" (), after the state of Jin that existed there during the Spring and Autumn period. The name ''Shanxi'' means "West of the Mountains", a reference to the province's location west of the Taihang Mountains. Shanxi borders Hebei to the east, Henan to the south, Shaanxi to the west and Inner Mongolia to the north. Shanxi's terrain is characterised by a plateau bounded partly by mountain ranges. Hu Fuguo (; born October 1937) is a Chinese politician currently serving as president of China Association of Poverty Alleviation & Development. Liu Zhenhua
Liu Zhenhua (; July 1921 – 11 July 2018) was a general ('' shangjiang'') of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and a diplomat of the People's Republic of China. He served as ambassador to Albania and Deputy Foreign Minister. Biography He was born in Tai'an, Shandong in July 1921. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1938. Luo Guibo (; Vietnamese: Lã Quý Ba) (1907–1995) was a Chinese diplomat and People's Republic of China politician. He was born in Nankang County, Jiangxi (modern Nankang District, Ganzhou). Lin Wu (; born February 1962) is a Chinese politician and the current CCP Secretary of Shanxi province. Previously, he served as Shanxi Governor, deputy governor and the chief of the CCP Organization Department of Jilin province. Lou Yangsheng (; born October 1959) is a Chinese politician and the current Communist Party Secretary of Henan province. Originally from Zhejiang province, Lou was the Communist Party Secretary of Lishui in his early career.
