Development and Justice Party of Islamic Iran or Islamic Iran Development and Justice Party ( fa, حزب توسعه و عدالت ایران اسلامی) is a conservative political party in Iran, with a claimed goal of "increasing public participation in politics". Mohsen Rezai is the man behind the party, which consists mainly of Revolutionary Guard commanders who served in the Iran-Iraq War. Mohammad-Mehdi Abdekhodaei
Mohammad-Mehdi Abdekhodaei ( fa, محمدمهدی عبدخدایی) is an Iranian conservative activist. Son of Sheikh Gholamhosein Mojtahed-e Tabrizi, he had a lower-middle-class ''bazaari'' background and was a minor attendant in a small hardware store. On 13 February 1952, when he was a 15-year-old member of the Fada'iyan-e Islam, he attempted to assassinate Hossein Fatemi who was delivering a speech at the grave of journalist Mohammad Masud who had been assassinated in 1948. Fatemi survived the shooting. Abdekhodaei was tried as a juvenile and imprisoned for twenty months. Hassan Ghafourifard ( fa, حسن غفوریفرد) (born 5 August 1943) is an Iranian academic and conservative politician. Ghafourifard held government portfolios in the 1980s, before being appointed as the Physical Education Organization under president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
