In telecommunications, long-term evolution (LTE) is a standard for wireless broadband communication for mobile devices and data terminals, based on the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA standards. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world's largest and highest-energy particle collider.
