Poko Rekords
Poko Rekords was a Finland, Finnish record label. It was established in 1977, but ceased operations in 2009. In the early years, Poko Rekords focused mainly on Punk rock, punk and rockabilly music and later expanded its artist range to Heavy metal music, heavier rock music. Poko Rekords released records by many successful Finnish artists and bands. Among others, Eppu Normaali, Popeda, Hassisen Kone, Sielun Veljet, J. Karjalainen, Yö, Ismo Alanko, Petri Nygård, The 69 Eyes and Diablo (band), Diablo were at Poko Rekords. To expand the selection, Epe Helenius, who founded the record company, founded Poko International in the early 1980s, when Poko was able to start distributing records by international artists in Finland; for example, Metallica's first three records in the 1980s were distributed by Poko International. Petri Nygård
Petri Jukka Mikael Laurila (born 8 February 1975), better known by his stage name Petri Nygård, is a Finnish rapper. He is also known under alias Dream (in rap duo Nuera) and as Travis Bicle. He has gained notoriety for his sexually explicit and misogynistic lyrics and his provocative stage shows (which often include nude women, pyrotechnics, drunk fans and giant inflatable vagina sculptures). His lyrical themes often focus on alcohol, parties, sex, women, pornography, hangover, masturbation, dissing Finnish celebrities and satirizing popculture and phenomena. Tampere University of Technology (TUT) ( fi, Tampereen teknillinen yliopisto (TTY)) was Finland's second-largest university in engineering sciences. The university was located in Hervanta, a suburb of Tampere. It was merged with the University of Tampere to create the new Tampere University on 1 January 2019. The university's statutory duty was to pursue research and give the highest education in its field. The research, conducted by some 1,800 staff and faculty members, mostly focused on applied science and often has close ties to many different companies (such as Nokia). Diablo is a Finnish melodic death metal band, formed in 1995 as Diablo Brothers.
