Poetic Justice (TV Series)
Poetic Justice () is a Singaporean Chinese-language drama television series. It depicts the lives of a group of people doing investigative journalism, and was telecasted on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp Channel 8. It stars Rui En, Dai Xiangyu, Rebecca Lim & Desmond Tan as the casts of the series. It was broadcast on MediaCorp Channel 8 from 11 September 2012 to 8 October 2012. This drama serial consists of 20 episodes, and was screened on every weekday night at 9:00 pm. Unlike most locally produced series about crime, this series departs from the traditional police procedural style and focuses more on investigative journalism and the media. Story The plot revolves around a group of young professionals involved in investigative journalism. Two journalists team up with a wealthy businessman and a lawyer to help solve cases for those in need. Rui En
Loh Rui En (born 29 January 1981), better known by her stage name Rui En (瑞恩), is a Singaporean actress and was named as one of the Seven Princesses of Mediacorp in 2006. She was under contract of MediaCorp and managed under Hype Records. Early life Rui En was born on 29 January 1981 to a family consisting of her father, a property agent, and mother, a housewife. Her parents divorced when she was 17, and subsequently remarried to other persons when she in her 20s. Priscelia Chan
Priscelia Chan Shih Mei, also known as Zeng Shimei, is a Singaporean television actress and host. Career Chan was a tax auditor before taking part in Star Search Singapore 1999. Despite being eliminated in the semifinals, she was offered a contract by TCS (later MediaCorp). She was initially cast in supporting roles in several Chinese-language television dramas produced by MediaCorp Channel 8, and made her debut as a lead actress in ''In Pursuit of Peace'' (2001) and ''Heartlanders III'' (2003). Phua Leng Leng (born 25 June 1970), better known as Pan Lingling, is a Singaporean actress. Career Pan entered the entertainment industry in 1988 after graduating from the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation's 8th Drama Artiste Training Course. Edmund Tay Kok Peng (born 27 May 1964), also known as Zheng Geping, is a Singaporean actor and executive producer managed under The Celebrity Agency. He works on the Chinese-language Channel 8. Tracy Lee (, born Lee Mei Leng on 19 June 1985) is a Malaysian former actress and television host based in Singapore. Jerry Yeo
Jerry Yeo (, born 29 June 1986) is a Singaporean actor. He was a versatile full-time Mediacorp artiste, actor and TV host from 2007 to 2014. Career Yeo joined Star Search 2007 whilst a freshman at Nanyang Technological University and was first runner-up. Desmond Sim
Desmond Sim Kim Jin (born 1961) is a Singaporean playwright, poet, short story writer, screenwriter and painter. His work, ''Places Where I've Been'', won a Merit Prize in the 1993 Singapore Literature Prize for Poetry. Shane Pow (, born 4 October 1990) is a Singaporean actor and was named as one of the 8 Dukes of Caldecott Hill. Education and early life Pow has an elder sister.
