Pleasure To Kill
''Pleasure to Kill'' is the second studio album by German thrash metal band Kreator, released in March 1986 by Noise Records. ''Pleasure to Kill'' is widely considered a landmark thrash metal classic, along with ''Master of Puppets'' by Metallica, '' Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?'' by Megadeth, ''Reign in Blood'' by Slayer, ''Eternal Devastation'' by Destruction and ''Darkness Descends'' by Dark Angel, all released in 1986. The album played a considerable role in the development of many extreme metal subgenres, and death metal bands such as Cannibal Corpse cite the album as an influence. The lyrical themes follow those found on their first album ''Endless Pain'', containing descriptions of macabre scenes of death and horror. Just like that album, Kreator were a three-piece band during the recording of ''Pleasure to Kill''; on some early pressings, guitarist Michael Wulf, who was briefly a member of Kreator, was erroneously credited as a band member in the liner notes. Kreator
Kreator is a German thrash metal band from Essen, formed in 1982. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Miland "Mille" Petrozza, drummer Jürgen "Ventor" Reil, lead guitarist Sami Yli-Sirniö, and bassist Frédéric Leclercq. The band's lineup has changed multiple times over its -year career, most noticeably with their bassists and lead guitarists. Petrozza and Reil are the only two original members left in Kreator, although the latter took a break from the band from 1994 to 1996. Yli-Sirniö has been the lead guitarist of Kreator since 2001, while Leclercq joined in 2019 as the replacement of Christian "Speesy" Giesler, who had been a member of the band since 1994. To date, Kreator has released fifteen studio albums, two EPs, two live albums and three compilation albums. ''Eternal Devastation'' is the second full-length album by German thrash metal band Destruction, released on July 12, 1986. Martin Popoff (born April 28, 1963) is a Canadian music journalist, critic and author. He is mainly known for writing about the genre of heavy metal music. Michael Wulf
Michael Wulf (6 December 1963 – 21 July 1993) (also known by the stage name Destructor) was a German heavy metal musician who was a member of Kreator and Sodom. He was a member of Kreator in 1985, joining Sodom later that year. Cannibal Corpse is an American death metal band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1988, now based out of Tampa, Florida. The band has released fifteen studio albums, two box sets, four video albums, and two live albums.
