Pleasant Valley High School is a public high school in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania (U.S.). It is the sole high school operated by the Pleasant Valley School District. As of the 2020-21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,417 students. The school's name was given by its founder, John C. Mills, who took it from a common name for the area used by the locals. Pleasant Valley High School is located on U.S. Route 209. The building was built in 1960 and renovated in 2005. The school had 1,569 students as of the 2018–2019 school year. Brodheadsville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,700 at the 2020 census. The community is served by Pleasant Valley School District. Geography Brodheadsville is located at (40.926724, -75.404707). The Harlon Hill Trophy is an award in American college football given to the individual selected as the most valuable player in NCAA Division II. The award is named for former University of North Alabama and National Football League player Harlon Hill. It was first given in 1986 to Jeff Bentrim of North Dakota State University. Jimmy Terwilliger
Jimmy Terwilliger is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. From 2009 to 2013, he was the head football coach at Pleasant Valley High School. He played college football at East Stroudsburg, winning the 2005 Harlon Hill Trophy. Terwilliger graduated from East Stroudsburg with 17 NCAA Division II records.
