Playrix Holding Ltd., also known as Playrix Entertainment and Playrix Games, is a developer of free-to-play mobile games behind titles such as ''Township'', ''Fishdom'', ''Homescapes'', and ''Gardenscapes''. The company was founded in 2004 by Dmitry Bukhman and Igor Bukhman in Vologda, Russia, and moved its headquarters to Dublin, Ireland in 2013. Playrix was valued at $8 billion in 2021. As of 2022, Playrix was the fourth-biggest mobile game developer in the world in terms of revenue and employed 4,000 people across 100 cities, mainly in Eastern Europe, including 1500 in Russia and 1500 in Ukraine. In October 2022, the company said it was ceasing operations in Russia and Belarus due to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. ''Homescapes'' is a casual free-to-play puzzle game. It was developed and launched by Playrix in 2017 as a successor to their 2016 match-3 game, ''Gardenscapes''. The storyline narrates about attempts of the game's protagonist, Austin the Butler, to restore his childhood home. The game is available on Apple's App Store for iOS and macOS, and also on Android via Google Play, Amazon Appstore, or Huawei AppGallery. It is also available for Windows on the Microsoft Store. Gameplay ''Homescapes'' follows the adventure of the main character Austin who returns to his childhood mansion and begins to restore it. ''Fishdom'' is a puzzle game developed by Playrix for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSi, Nintendo 3DS, Android, iOS, and iPadOS. The game was launched 18 June 2008. Gameplay The object of the game is to solve puzzles and earn coins to set up and decorate a virtual aquarium. Dmitry Bukhman (born 27 May 1985) is a Russian-born Israeli entrepreneur. Together with his brother Igor Bukhman, they founded online gaming company Playrix, which is best known for its mobile-app games such as ''Homescapes'' and ''Fishdom''. Dmitry and his brother Igor were born in the Soviet city of Vologda (in what is now Russia). As a child, Dmitry was engaged in programming.
