Andrés Piquer
Andrés Piquer (1711–1772) was a Spanish physician, philosopher, logician, writer and author. During the eighteenth century, a critique and re-evaluation of the Hippocratic Corpus within Spanish universities was pushed by Galenist scholars. Piquer contributed to this analysis of the corpus and served as a philosopher and doctor to the Kings Ferdinand VI of Spain, Ferdinand VI and Charles III of Spain, Charles III. Piquer is recognized for his translations of Hippocratic treatises from ancient Greek to Spanish and his efforts to transform medical university instruction in Spain to follow Hippocrates, Hippocratic theory. Piquer's translation and commentary of Epidemics 1 and 3, and partially Epidemic 2, are noteworthy. His medical and physiological work relates to Hippocrates and the medical theories of Thomas Sydenham, 'the English Hippocrates', who is recognized for his work ''Observationes Medicae'' (1676). Bernardo López Piquer
Bernardo López Piquer (20 August 1799/1800, Valencia – 1 August 1874, Madrid) was a Spanish portrait painter; noted especially for his pastels. Biography His father was the portrait painter, Vicente López Portaña. His brother, Luis, also became a painter. Later, they would work together at Orihuela Cathedral. He and his brother enrolled at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in 1825. Thanks to the influence of his father, he was able to find work at the Royal Palace, where he painted portraits in his father's style.Brief biography

Francisco Piquer Chanza (2 June 1922 – 11 December 2009) was a Spanish actor. Piquer's career as a stage, film, television and voice actor spanned six decades beginning in 1940. He won the Prix du Cinema Writers Circle for his role as the protagonist in the 1957 film ''Dirty Hands''. He was Juan Proctor in fourteen episodes of the comedy ''Studio 1'' and appeared in four episodes of ''El Comisario'' among many others. One of his last film roles was in 1998 in José Luis Garci’s '' The Grandfather'' where he played the Prior of Zaratay. Juan Piquer Simón (16 February, 1935 – 8 January, 2011) was a Spanish film director best known for directing two cult classic horror film, horror exploitation film, exploitation films, ''Pieces (1982 film), Pieces'' (1982) and ''Slugs (1988 film), Slugs: The Movie'' (1988). Vicente Piquer
Vicente Piquer Mora (24 February 1935 – 1 March 2018) was a Spanish football right back and manager. He played 341 competitive matches with Valencia, in a 12-year professional career. Club career Born in Algar de Palancia, Valencian Community, Piquer finished his development at local club Valencia CF. He started playing as a senior with the reserves in Segunda División and, on 24 February 1957, he made his La Liga debut for the first team in a 2–3 away loss against FC Barcelona. He scored his first goal in the latter competition in the next fixture, as the hosts beat Real Sociedad, 3–2; he added six appearances in the Copa del Generalísimo to help the side reach the semi-finals.
